The first time I read this book I was in 5th
grade and I fell in love with it! If you’re an animal lover then this is a
definite read for you! Although it does have a sad ending, it does talk about a
strong bond between man and his dogs. It’s really a beautiful story, I loved it
so much that I read it 3 times.
If you’re not a big fan of pets and such then I wouldn’t
recommend it. The book is about how a dog really can be a man’s best friend. If
you also don't enjoy sad endings then I would recommend a different book.
