Jean Louise is travelling from New York City back to Maycomb County to visit her 72-year-old father, Atticus Finch. Once home, her foundation is shaken when she finds a racist pamphlet in her father's office. Jean Louise hears her Aunt defending racist beliefs, and sees both Atticus and her soon to be husband Henry at a Maycomb Citizens' Council meeting discussing racist topics. Left in emotional turmoil, Jean Louise grows to hate her father and the rest of Maycomb county alike.
With a twist ending, this book is perfect for people between the age of sixteen though twenty five but is a timeless classic for all ages.
