Landon is a senior in high school and is more of a rebellious teenager. He then gets into some trouble and has to help the "good" girl at school, Jamie, with a play. She then starts tutoring him so they begin spending a lot of time together, but don't get along very well. They then start to fall for each other. Jamie tells Landon not to fall in love with her, little does he know that she has cancer. Landon has some tough decisions to make after finding out such traumatizing news.
If you're into romance novels then this is definitely the book for you. It may be a sad book, but it has a great theme and has a great plot. It shows how people can change over time and how one person alone can help change someone for the best.
