Kid Lawyer is about a kid named Theodore Boone that desires to be a lawyer. That's what he thrives to be even though he is still very young, 13, he's determined. One day at school he was assigned to do a research, somewhat like an understudy, of the job he wanted to be. Since he already knew so many lawyers and people working for the system, he was able to sit in on a case. This is what begins the book's suspense and mystery.
The case is about a woman named Mrs. Duffy and everyone points their fingers at her husband. Daniel does too until he finds out dark secrets that only he knows. Well there's one witness but because he isn't documented his fear holds him back form exposing the truth. The book is the journey Daniel takes with this case being only a kid Lawyer.
If you are a teenager that enjoys reading but not a whole lot. I would strongly recommend this book. It's not too much where it is over kill but it is enough to get a nice crime story. Also you'll learn a few things about the justice system if that interests you.
