Kisses From Katie is a true story about a young girl named Katie, that travels to Uganda on a mission trip over the summer before her senior year. During those two weeks, Katie falls in love with everything about Uganda. The children, the education, the experiences. Although her parents thought otherwise, Katie believed that this was her calling from the Lord. The next year, she puts her future on hold to move to Uganda, and ends up marrying the love of her life, and they adopt thirteen children together. Katie struggles along her journey, but never gives up on what she believes is right for herself and those around her. This is a very inspirational book that is perfect for someone that is in need uplifting and cheerful story.
