Thomas wakes up in an elevator with no memory at all besides his name. The elevator doors are opened and he is stuck in a place called the Glade. He is with other teenage boys that have befallen the same fate as Thomas. He learns of a maze outside the Glade and seeks to find his way through it to escape. He learns of monsters inside the maze and has many obstacles on his journey. I think that this book would be good for other high school students. It is really easy to relate to and is an exciting book.
