A man named Louis Zamperini joined the military. One day, he was flying in the American military plane and then they crashed into the Pacific Ocean.  They were stranded for a few days before the Japanese came and found them.  They held them hostage against the U.S., and kept repeatedly beating them.  Zamperini stays strong throughout the whole thing and never gives up or loses hope.

If you like non-fiction books, then you would absolutely love this book.  It is very inspiring and an extra(-)ordinary story.  If you are up fro reading a life-changing book, then this is definitely the book for you.
