When you first start high school, you dont expect to become an alcoholic and drug addict like all the movies tell you.  But when you do, its really hard to think of yourself like that.  Maddie Graham for example, high schooler who thought that having one or two drinks at a party wouldn't hurt her until her millionth party and her billionth drink and a rude awakening that leads to a sober house.  Once there, Maddie makes new friends and new relationships.  Tragedies happen and friendships are ruined.  But youll have to read it to find out just what.

This is a good book but should be for older readers.  There are mentions of alcohol and drugs and even parts that go into great detail about it.  I would recommend this book to anyone over 13.  There is a TV show but its nothing like the book but maybe two or three characters.  The book is beyond better and is a good read.  It keeps you hooked, I personally read it in a day because it was so good.
