In The Lost Hero, Jason, a Roman demigod, woke up with no memory and was brought to the Greek Camp Halfbood. Meanwhile in the sequel, The Son of Neptune, Percy Jackson, the Greek hero, wakes up with no memory in the Roman Camp Jupiter. He meets Hazel and Frank and they are sent to fulfill the prophecy in Alaska and defeat Gaea the earth goddess. The fate of both camps relies on their success. They meet people along the way who help them on their journey, but they also run into some trouble. They have to work together Roman and Greek in order to succeed on their quest.

This book is great read and hard to put down. It tells the story of a teenage demigod who goes fights to save the world. It's the perfect book for teenagers and young children but adults can enjoy it too. Rick Riordan's skill in painting a picture in your head makes you feel like you're right there as a part of the action. I definitely recommend taking the time to read it.
