The Alchemist

The Alchemist
by Paulo Coelho
reviewed by Isaiah Scott
The Pilgrimage
166 pages

Let us all embark on a journey you will not forget. As a main theme throughout the book I felt that we can all learn the concept of being wise and suing the knowledge that we have. The story begins with our main character Santiago, and for him, all he wants to do is travel, in hope of having fun and finding new things. While embarking on his long travel he meets a girl, who would be Fatima an Arabian girl who helps Santiago find who he truly is. As I was reading, I really enjoyed the message being shared which would be to follow your heart. An audience that would enjoy this book would be people who enjoy quest, drama, and fantasy.
