The Fault in Our Stars is an epic, tragic love story about a girl; 16 year old Hazel Grace, and 17 year old Augustus. The book follows the main character, Hazel, who is battling Thyroid cancer which soon effected her lungs as well. She also happens to be struggling with depression, worrying about what will become of her family if something ever happens to her. To help her with her depression, her parents make her go to a support group, where she would rather not be. But over time she builds friendships, and falls in love with Augustus Waters. (Who had/has Osteosarcoma) he then proceeds to use his wish to take her on the adventure of her dreams.

This book was so intriguing to me. Even though there is nothing supernatural about the book, it still kept you excited about it the whole time. And if you read this book then you will entirely get lost in the story. I loved how the author portrayed completely different personality and character traits between these two people. The author really knows the characters and shows it throughout his work, making it easier to identify with both of the two people for different reasons. This is easily one of my most favorite books.
