In the book Beautiful Creatures there's the small town of Gatlin where Ethan Wate has lived his whole life. He's bored of the same stuff and the same people. He's tired of dating the same girls and wishes someone new, smart, and fun would show up. That's when Lena Duchannes moves to Gatlin. Ethan can't wait to meet her. They bond over shared flashbacks of a cursed locket. They of course fall in love, but something or someone could be trying to stop them.
This book is a mix of suspense and romance. I personally think it was a very good read. I can't wait to read the rest of the series. I would recommend this book to mainly anyone who likes romance books. You may or may not cry, but the ending is worth it. There's a very big plot twist but and book that is good has one.
