Adelina Amouteru is a girl who survived the blood fever. It was a deadly sickness that swept through the nation, and those that survived were left with strange markings. For example, Adelina's once black hair turned silver, and a scar formed where her left eye used to be. There are rumors that those who survived the book fever may contain strange powers. The identities of those who survived are kept secret, and they are known as the Young Elites.

I recommend this book to all students in high school, and any young adults who enjoy Utopian genres. This book had a really good ending, and it keeps you captivated throughout the whole book. I really enjoyed it myself.
