Ready Player One

Ready Player One
Brooklyn Campbell

374 pages

Wade, a poor teenager, lives in a future world where most people forget their miserable existence by spending their time inside the virtual world called OASIS. Wade, is one of millions of hunters (people hunting or the hidden easter egg within the OASIS) that was left by it creator, James Halliday. Upon his death, the successful gunter will inherit Hallidays' money and his company called Gregarious Simulation Systems. To find the egg, hunters must first find three keys and pass through the three gates these keys open. The invitation began a worldwide obsession with finding the elusive keys, but after five years, no one has been successful. Wade has done extensive research on Halliday in his own search for the key, but like everyone else he has no clue to where the first clue is. The task for Wade seems impossible knowing he uses a cheap console provided by the school but, that doesn't stop him.

Ready Player One is about an exciting adventure novel that takes the reader into a future world where anything is possible inside the virtual world of OASIS. I definitely recommend this book for anyone who enjoys video games, and adventure novels because Ready Player One is a book that is hard to put down. I enjoyed all the content of this book and I think it is an amazing book for anyone.
